Ah Spanish Cinema, often confusing at the best of times, but crikey this is an absolute belter! A man caught in a time loop, seems a little tame by movie going standards, all done before, but when it’s done well... and this is, it’s wonderful fun! Tense and humorous, chicken and egg stuff, that puts a unique twist on the horror stalker plot line. Good guys, bad guys, victims of circumstance and well meaning, with tragic consequences. It’s as much measured farce as sharp thriller, with lead Kara Elejalde playing every facet with aplomb. Really lovely and highly recommended, even if you hate subtitles.
