This might be the most terrifying and truthful footage I’ve ever seen. The recoloured film is eerily captivating, to the point that you realise just how detaching the original black and white is. The colour restoration gives the viewer nowhere to hide, it’s visceral and humanising in an almost unimaginable way. The foley work on the sound too is staggering, but of course it’s the stories told by the narrators that really makes this a must watch.
