I was talking to someone about this on here, but can't recall who. The Way Things Go (Der Lauf Der Dinge) was the inspiration for the Honda cause and effect advert 'Cog' in 2003, itself a work of beauty. This 30 minute film by Peter Fischli and David Weiss is very much an art piece, but very entertaining and mesmerising. For anyone who's not seen it, ask me for a link (or look at the edit).
