American Grindhouse (2010)

Although under 90 minutes, this documentary is pretty in depth and quite an eye opener. Not just for the more extreme aspects of cinema, but for American cinema as a whole, from the marketing, topics tackled and what's considered legitimate entertainment. Still, a lot of it is pretty awful.
